In Japan, sashiko is a running-stitch embroidery used to reinforce and repair indigo-dyed workwear. Its geometric patterns became an art form in their own right. Sashiko Indigo prints it over a deep indigo ground with an irregular tint, like it was dyed by hand. White sashiko patterns cover both shoulders like a reinforced yoke, then fade out along the sleeves. On the back, a narrow band of sashiko stitching runs along the spine. Raw indigo cuffs are edged with a white running stitch.

What size should I take for this rashguard?
True to size, compression fit: take your usual size. Between two sizes, go up for more room, go down for a compression fit. The table gives body measurements, not garment measurements. Returns and size exchange within 30 days.
Does the design hold up in the wash?
Yes: the design is printed into the fibre, with no surface coating. It won't crack or come off in the wash. Wash at 30°C maximum, inside out, with no fabric softener, and air dry.
Does the rashguard stay in place on the ground?
Cut: fitted, with 12% spandex. The piece follows your movement without flapping or giving anyone a grip. Fitted to your size, it stays close to the body.
Rash guard or compression tee?
The rash guard carries the design across the whole surface, from collar to wrists. It protects the skin from friction and mat burns in no-gi BJJ, grappling and MMA.
